Summer Fruit Compote Crumble |

Hey Beautiful.

How have you been?

The days seem to be going by so fast these days which means summer will soon be approaching and summer desserts just happen to be my favourite type. Of dessert with the sun shining today whilst being indoors I thought I would try and make my very first crumble.

Summer fruit Crumble to be precise with a strawberry and raspberry topping.  This crumble was easy to make and full of flavour. Sweet and juicy with a golden crust on top. It tastes like you spent hours in the kitchen when in fact I threw it together in minutes!

I was able to pick up Summer fruit compote from Marks and Spencer’s I also brought some Raspberries and Strawberries I love this season when the berries are just coming out.

1 bag of Summer Fruit Compote

1 bag of Oaty Crumble Mix

100 g Unsalted butter (Melted)

Knob of butter for the greasing dish.

Preparation time

5 Minutes and Pre heat the oven 180 or if using a Fan oven 160 Gas: 4

Whilst the oven is being preheated I placed the fruit compote into a lightly greased baking dish with the crumble mix that I had put together using the melted butter I than applied that onto the compote and spread it out evenly.  After that I placed it into the oven for me it was at (Fan 160) and let it bake until it was golden. Baking time takes around 30 to 35 minutes, but I baked mine for 30 till it was golden and then just put it back in for that extra 5 to get the crispy edging.

And there we have it thanks to marks and spencer’s, My first ever crumble.

Summer edition.

Lots of Love.

Stay safe and Stay indoors.
